Control system
- Temperature control of the secondary heat transfer medium at the heat exchanger outlet (regulation in accordance with the outdoor temperature is possible).
- Temperature control of the secondary heat transfer medium at the outlet of the hydraulic separator if a hydraulic separator is used in the circuit (regulation is possible according to the outdoor temperature).
- Temperature control of the secondary heat transfer medium in the buffer if used in the circuit.
- Control over the circulation pump group consisting of one or two pumps (automatic switching-on, automatic change of the lead pump according to the running time) can be used for additional HTG-CIRC unit.
- Regulation of steam pressure at the heat transfer package inlet, can be used for additional HTG-PR unit of EL/PN modifications.
- Stopping steam supply in case of overheating, low water pressure and lack of flow.
- General alarm (dry contact) and optional configurable digital output.
- Digital input for remote on/off switching of the unit.
- Two additional configurable analog inputs for:
- connecting a steam pressure gauge;
- connecting a steam flowmeter;
- connecting a steam flowmeter;
- control valve actuator feedback.
- On request: digital interface for connection with the top level of the Computerized Process Control System (CPCS) (Profinet, Modbus, Profibus).
Selection and installation details
A proper condensate recovery unit design is to be made in accordance with local regulations prior to a condensate recovery unit installation. All necessary additional pipeline ancillaries, safety and control devices are to be included in order to ensure safe and long-term operation of equipment |
It is recommended to use the product of a hydraulic separator configuration in case of variable flow rates in the secondary circuit (for example, if several circulation groups equipped with CIRC/MIX three-way mixing valves are installed in the secondary heat transfer medium circuit).

The use of a pressure buffer configuration should be considered for a hot water system in which peak loads are an order of magnitude higher than the average load (for example, showers that consume a large flow of hot water once or twice a day, the rest of the time, water consumption is limited to several washstands). In such cases, the use of a circuit with a buffer can serve as an optimal replacement for a circuit with instantaneous heating of hot water. If you need to include the buffer in the configuration, or want to indicate its capacity, materials, etc., please specify in the “Other” section of the Questionnaire. |

The configuration with the PMTm active condensate drain group is used in cases where there is a significant back pressure Pc or Hk lift in the condensate line and the condensate cannot be drained by gravity from the heat exchanger.

The use of the HTG-C configuration makes it possible to utilize the heat of low-grade steam (0.5-2 barg) generated during operation of steam-using equipment, for example, flash steam or steam from the last stage of backpressure turbine. Flash steam recovery can be performed using FSS unit.
The use of this configuration is recommended for systems with a stable load (e.g. heating system). |
If you select a custom configuration, please, specify the required number of heat exchangers (one, two or more) and the percentage of redundancy (50%, 100% of the heat capacity) in the “Other” section of the Questionnaire. |
The use of an automatic shut-off valve (CF, CMF option) is mandatory for heat transfer package configuration for domestic hot water systems and is highly desirable for heat transfer package configuration for heat supply and heating systems. |
The unit control system is equipped with a digital input for connecting the pressure switch of the heated medium. It s recommended to use pressure switch to prevent boiling of the liquid in the heat exchanger, as well as to prevent circulation pumps failure. It is recommended that the pressure switch be installed on the return pipe (before the circulation pumps, if they are located on the return pipe). The HTG-CIRC circulation group is already equipped with a pressure switch. |
